Chantel’s yoga practice began over 16 years ago while attending college in Montana. As a very active young woman, yoga was a very difficult practice. It really required steady watching, and though she was drawn to it, found a strong resistance to its required inner reflection. After teaching now for over 12 years, she’s watched the beauty of Yoga’s wisdom bring peace, stillness and understanding.
Living and teaching in India for the past 7 years, Chantel has been able to study and teach various traditions of this practice and has been inspired by the transformations of her students coming from all over the world. Sharing Yoga has become her joy and piecing it together with the teachings of Ayurveda as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies and practices, brings a wholeness to her classes.
She will share more sturdy, steady and slow Hatha Flow practices involving peaceful breathing, mindfulness, mantras, as well as meditation. All levels are welcome and encouraged to join her classes.
