Kirtan
Apr 20 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Kirtan

Open your heart and celebrate an evening of Kirtan with Finn and Seth Andersen. Donations only.

Kirtan is a word that means “narrating, reciting, telling, describing” of an idea or story. You can think of it as a sing-along. The leader sings the mantra and the audience repeats it back. As you sing together, you experience a deep connection with the musicians, other audience members, and yourself. Because Kirtan has roots in India, many of the songs are sung in Sanskrit.

Monthly Women’s Gatherings
Apr 26 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Monthly Women's Gatherings @ Yoga Samadhi Studio

Abby invites you to join her for a Cacao Ceremony to open your heart and connect you to your womb. Space will be held for you to share what is calling from deep within and we will all hold space for one other to do the same.

There will be time to connect as well as time for silence for you to go within. We will traverse through a deep, guided meditation to reclaim our power as woman and journey to our wombs. Abby holds these circles with the intention for women to allow themselves to let go, connect and let spirit flow through them.

The birth of the Women’s Gatherings came from a craving to experience a deep, raw connection with other women, a craving for community, a craving for the power of the womb to be reclaimed and honored. It came from a craving for more ceremony, a craving to have sacred space to rest in and a craving to clear the personal and collective trauma of the womb and the divine feminine that we all share in some form or another.

There will be time to ground and connect with one another before leaving so we can deeply nourish a community that will nourish us all.

*** Limited space, registration required ***
More info/registration: www.abbykenny.com.

Sliding scale: $25-$40. Last Fridays 6pm-9pm.”

Finding Inner Peace – Meditation & Discourse with Baba Shiva Rudra Balayogi
Apr 28 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Finding Inner Peace - Meditation & Discourse with Baba Shiva Rudra Balayogi @ Yoga Samadi

Baba, one of the great Self Realized Yogis of our era, will be visiting Yoga Samadhi on his world tour, conducting free meditation classes, answering questions on meditation, self-realization and finding inner peace.

An essential message of Baba’s teaching is:  People are suffering because they have forgotten the liberating Truth of who they are. Among the thousands of thoughts that appear in our mind each day, there is a one thing which is not a thought – our consciousness of existing. The silent witness to the mind is the true Self. Direct experience of this fundamental reality brings peace and contentment to our life. By silencing the mind with meditation we come face to face with the truth of existence, a state of consciousness in which supreme peace is the reality.

Baba is a masterful teacher who draws from his own experience of Self Realization to inspire seekers and to clarify their questions on meditation and spirituality. Learn and practice meditation with a true Master.

Programs are free; donations are appreciated.
