YOGA & NATURE CAMPS FOR KIDS

Are you looking for fun activities for your kids and teens to do this summer? We are launching our first ever Yoga & Nature Day Camps in July & August at Yoga Samadhi Studio in White Salmon, WA. Here’s what’s included each day: Nature Walks & Hikes, Mindfulness Activities, Yoga & Meditation, Breath & Relaxation Practices.

Our camps are designed to inspire a love of nature and encourage mindfulness at a young age. Each day will be fun and playful, but we will also offer tools for relaxation with activities that will teach children what it means to be present, what to do with big emotions, how to have healthy relationships and more! Each day will include nature walks and hikes, mindfulness activities, yoga and meditation and breath and relaxation practices.

Crystal Borup, Yoga Teacher, Owner of Peaceful Living School of Yoga, and Co-Director of Yoga Samadhi will be leading these camps. Crystal’s received her Children’s yoga training from Ana Hansen, author of Yoga for Big Hearts and Little Hands. Crystal is also First Aid and CPR certified.

Meditation with the Monks of the Pacific Hermitage

The Monks of the Pacific Hermitage lead meditation and offer teachings. All are welcome…no meditation experience or registration is necessary. These events are freely offered, however donations to help support the monks are appreciated.

The Pacific Hermitage is nestled along a forested stretch of White Salmon’s Jewett Creek and is the home of a small group of Theravada Buddhist monks.

Established in the summer of 2010, the Hermitage is a place of solitude for these monks who devote their lives to meditation and simple living. The monks walk daily through the town of White Salmon to accept donations of food, and are available to the community as a spiritual resource.

Increase sexual pleasure for you and your partner, eliminate bladder leakage and back pain, do away with “mommy tummy,” quicken postnatal recovery, improve posture and grace.

Strengthen, tone and balance your whole body by focusing on your core. Often overlooked, as we can be shy to talk about it, the pelvic floor is the foundation of your core. This workshop covers key exercises to strengthen a weak pelvic floor.

Take home a shorty daily workout sheet to continue the love.

Kirtan
Aug 17 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Kirtan

Open your heart and celebrate an evening of Kirtan with Finn and Seth Andersen. Donations only.

Kirtan is a word that means “narrating, reciting, telling, describing” of an idea or story. You can think of it as a sing-along. The leader sings the mantra and the audience repeats it back. As you sing together, you experience a deep connection with the musicians, other audience members, and yourself. Because Kirtan has roots in India, many of the songs are sung in Sanskrit.
