Kristin Franger

Kristin started her training and practice of yoga when she moved to the Gorge in 2010. She acquired her 200hr and 500hr RYT certifications from  The Yoga Space Portland, OR. She studies primarily with Michele Loew, while also working with Simon Manasche and Rosie Acosta. Her areas of study include yoga as therapy, applied anatomy and physiology, teaching methodology, philosophy, asana and pranayama.

Kristin’s classes have a strong emphasis on alignment, while balancing strength and flexibility and cultivating steady breath and mindfulness. With an awareness of the individuals in each class, Kristin leads students through a safe and sustainable prackristinyogatice. She is influenced heavily by the intelligent design of the Ashtanga system, the alignment of Iyengar and individual modifications of Desikachar.
