Intention is the capacity to stay in touch with what is of prime importance to you, from moment to moment, in your daily life. By “what is of prime importance” I mean those core values that you wish to live from as you pursue your life’s goals and engage with other people throughout the day. Staying grounded in your intention dramatically shifts how your mind and heart respond to circumstances.
It literally changes what you perceive in a situation and how your mind interprets what you perceive, and it enhances how you understand what you perceive and how you act on what you perceive. Intention requires mindfulness. Quote from Emotional Chaos to Clarity by Phillip Moffitt, Chapter 1
This workshop will include self-assessments and insightful discussions to help you identify your core values. We will use this information to create written intentions that you can apply to any situation you encounter in your daily life. Intentions always relate to the present moment so we will be practicing mindfulness techniques that you can use to incorporate your intentions into your moment to moment choices.
